Name: Banshee

Short Story: Wyndstar's Banshee Boy (a.k.a. Fuzzy White Boy, Brat). Banshee learned flyball by default. His brother and sister were learning it, and he came along to practice. His first tournament was at the age of 9.5 yrs where he got a whopping 10 pts. Much to my surprise, he showed that he would and could run every race. He's not fast, but solid, will pass anyone, and most importantly, you can tell he is having fun.

Short Story: Our Flyball Master Dot was born in 2000 and we adopted her from Buckeye Border Collie Rescue. She was very timid at first but came out of her shell by catching Frisbees and playing Flyball. She became a Flyball Champion (500 points) at her first competition in October 2004.

Short Story: Eboni N Ivory (full name) - a.k.a. - Nini, Neeners, Bug, and Land Shark. She is our teams comic relief and princess. She insists on being treated "special". Her constent tenacity, cuteness and constent kisses ensures that she gets things her way. She always runs naked and with a smile! She was a rescued dog - believed to have come from a pit ring. She is the reason the Klonowski family started playing flyball.

Recent Brag: Nini was awarded the position of height dog for the 2007 Sharkfebst Deam Team. Nini got her ONYX at Slammer's Sept 2008 tournament putting in some of her fastest times.

Short Story: HNH Solar Flare (Flare) - is another Abbey puppy and is Lily's sister - and has 3 other brothers/sisters who will grow up to play flyball just like her. Her Daddy is Hollowshot Trippin on Sunshine who plays flyball in Canada and has a best time of 3.79. Flare is a very sweet and loving baby girl!

Short Story: O'Donnell's Take a Chance on Me. My first flyball dog. Gambit learned flyball on a one hole box at a local training facility. Never when we went there did I think we would try to compete. He is the first flyball dog in the Southwestern PA area. At the age of 7, I went looking for a team and found one in Ohio. I was hooked at the first tournament. The camaraderie and team spirit appealed to me. He is 10 now and starting to feel his age but still loves to play.

Short Story: Lacey is a 3 year old rescue BC Mix from Buckeye Border Collie. She is one of our height dogs. Her genetic mix is a mystery, (Papillon, Sheltie, Corgi?) She loves to run just for the thrill of it all. (& cookies ) She took about a year off for knee surgury, but came back better than ever. Aka: "Baby Girl"

Short Story: Luke is a rescue from IMPS. He was a city stray, ended up at the city pound, and was in a foster home for ten months when we adopted him. He had many scars, was fearful and reactive. But he LOVES to work for you!

Short Story: HNH Blue Porsche (registered name) a.k.a. the Blue One, is totally her daddy's baby. She is one of Abbey's puppies and was chosen at birth by her dad. Porsche started her flyball career at just a few days over 1 year old earning over 500 pts. at her first tournament. She is totally ball crazy and loves this sport. Porsche is also in training for Disc Dog and Dock Diving.

Short Story: Squire is a 5 year old rescue BC from Buckeye Border Collie. A founding member of FIAB. His love of tennis balls and flyball has helped him cope and overcome quite a few behaviour issues. He is the team "rain-man" can run in any position and helps all the new dogs learn to pass.

Short Story: O'Donnells Wild and Wonderful (a.k.a. Worm). Storm worms her way into your heart. She is a rescue who I was helping transport back to Buckeye Border Coliie Rescue for a friend. She stayed overnight before transport and she just fit in the family. I put in an application 4 days after driving her back. She is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Short Story: Missjiff's Summertime (a.k.a. Sum Sum) - Pippin and I have been more than happy to have her join our family and she has proven to be an exciting addtion! Name: Tammy (a.k.a. the Bomb, Bomby, the Whammer)

Short Story: After months of searching, we spotted Tammy on petfinder. She was in a shelter from the time she was weaned and, at four months was rescued by Russell Rescue Inc. from which organization we adopted her ( after she was adopted and returned by someone else) . We just loved her one blue eye, her totally curled tail and her drive. She also has done wonders for our reactive minpin Luke.

Short Story: Tempest Tonka - Is our little "desert" dog. He came all the way from Arizona and Alisa Romaine from Heat Wave Flyball. Tonka's entire family plays flyball. Tonka comes with all the tenacity, determination, and love of the typical Staffy! Complete with the Staffy vocabulary - which I think at times drives his flyball family crazy, but his Mommy loves!
